Why did this even become a fad? Why do ricers find it necessary to drive around during the day with fog lights on? This obviously does not add to performance, but ricers think it adds to the "look" of their vehicle. Sorry kids, but when you see a nicely restored hot rod, do the owners slap on a few pairs of PIAA racing lights to show off to the rest of the world that vision is so impaired because their car is SO fast they need extra lights? No. Fog lights are nice, for obvious reasons in certain conditions. If you buy them soley to use them as an accessory on your vehicle and not for their built purpose, you are a riceboy.
